Q) I'd like to help out! Where do I donate?
A) Please visit the St. Jude donation page to make your donation.
Q) How can I add my donation to the meter?
A) After you make your donation, you'll receive an email with your receipt. Forward that email to donations@cutdaveshair.com after removing your payment method, address, and phone number. In the email, drop me a quick note to let me know how you would like your name to appear on the Donors page.
Q) Can I be anonymous?
A) Absolutely. Just let me know that you would like to remain anonymous and you will be listed as an anonymous donor.
Q) Why aren't you collecting money yourself?
A) When I contacted St. Jude's to work on setting this up, I was told they didn't have the resources to help me with this undertaking. So I came up with a workaround method of asking people to donate and forward their receipts to me if they want their donation to be added to the meter. This takes the administrative donation counting out of my hands, which is nice, and also ensures that donors will receive a receipt that can be used for claiming their charitable contribution on their taxes.
Q) Do I have to forward my receipt to you?
A) Only if you want your donation to be tallied for this little endeavor of mine. If you're not comfortable with forwarding me your receipt, I understand. Don't let that stop you from donating though!
Q) How much should I donate?
A) $3,000 of course! Seriously, you should donate only what you can afford, even if it's only $5. Every little bit helps.
Q) Are you really going to cut your hair if you reach $3,000?
A) Yes, absolutely.
